Adam Stovall, President

Hello, my name is Adam Stovall. I am a Political Science and History student and the current President for the Upsilon chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha. My current goals for the chapter are to create an even stronger brotherhood than we already have, increase our involvement in university activities, place a special emphasis on grades, specifically to be in the top 10 academically out of all fraternities, and to continue rushing only the best guys that Auburn has to offer. We believe that it all starts with rush and are confident that we will have one of the best Fall rush classes in our recent history. I am excited for a strong year ahead of us and am extremely confident that myself, the other officers, and our chapter as a whole will do a great job.

Zack Zaharko, External Vice President

As Vice President of Pi Kappa Alpha, my main duty is to run the Executive Council, which consists of our social, spirit, house management, recruitment, pledge education, sorority relations, scholarship, brotherhood, ritual, and alumni relations committees. We have a weekly meeting to plan out future events and circulate ideas within the leadership of the chapter. Having this many committees in the executive council, it is very important to have outstanding committee heads and committee members. Their dedication and leadership makes my job much easier and makes Executive Council much more effective.

Clay Fleming, Spirit Chair

Hello, my name is Clay Fleming. I am the Spirit Chair here at Pi Kappa Alpha. My job is very self explanatory: encourage the Pike brothers to display spirit on campus. Auburn University is an exceptionally spirited school, especially its greek organizations. The Student Government Association holds a contest for fraternities each year. The group with the most spirit points gets first pick for home football game block seating. This contest not only promotes greek students to attend sporting events, but it also encourages them to give back to the community through the IMPACT program. We are currently among the top ten fraternities, and we expect to finish in the top five at the end of the Spring 2009 semester. Please contact me with any questions regarding spirit points and opportunities. War Eagle!

Roger Bell, Upsilon Chapter Advisor

In 1972, when I was initiated into the Upsilon Chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha, I knew that it was a major milestone in my life. Since that date I have only had those feelings reinforced and it has continued to be a source of immense pride to be a part of the brotherhood of Pi Kappa Alpha. As Chapter Advisor, I have had the extreme pleasure to continue my association and to offer my service to the undergraduate brothers as a resource for them to sound out their ideas and to discuss their challenges. Upsilon Chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha was established in 1895. We have a tremendous legacy with a multitude of outstanding alumni and undergraduates who have excelled in their chosen endeavors. We strive to continue that legacy and to help mold young men into gentlemen, scholars, athletes and men of character. I believe in these young men and so do our alumni who recently exhibited their commitment by pledging $1.3 million dollars to completely renovate the chapter house. “Once a Pike, always a Pike” illustrates a lifetime of friendship and brotherly love. If you have any questions, please contact me via the info listed below. I look forward to hearing from you!
